NBA 7: Final DescentIts well into the ten o'clock hour and the line outside Club Seal is long. The whole building thumps in time with the bass of some house techno. Inside, it's surprising how dark it can be for all the lights that are on. All the sweaty ravers look like ghosts in the illumination of black-light. The club is moist with breath and sweat and alcohol, and alive with the constant thumping of the sound system and the ebbing motions of all the people dancing. From table twelve, three women excuse themselves to go and join the mass of people - they become blue as they leave the shadow of the seating-area. Well, the offer was to perform some writerly like service, be it editing something you've written under 20 pages, helping on something you've written in some other fashion, or writing something you'd be interested in seeing me write, be it a poetry prompt or other type deal. It wasn't very specific. Nobody takes me up on these things, but I figured if someone did, they'd know what they'd want.
